Testimonials
When my wife and I were researching how to finance my medical school education, we were surprised by how difficult it was to find graduate school loan options that did not immediately accrue interest. As newlyweds, we felt the weight of that financial stress while trying to plan for the years ahead. I was grateful to learn about the Franklin Lindsay Student Aid Fund and to speak with my local representative, Laura, who clearly explained the loan terms and guided me through the application process. Because of the Franklin Lindsay Student Aid Fund, my wife and I have been able to experience financial peace during medical school, which has been a tremendous blessing. This support has allowed me to pursue a career I am passionate about without the added burden of excessive loans accumulating high amounts of interest. The Franklin Lindsay student aid fund loan gave me the opportunity to focus on my schoolwork without the stress of worrying about the financial burden on my family. With this aid I knew I was getting a fixed low interest loan that I would easily be able to manage post-graduation. This fund truly gave me the possibility to excel in my coursework by alleviating the growing financial stress that comes with college.
I’m really grateful for the support I received through the Franklin Lindsay Trust loan program. It made a real difference for me—without it, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to afford school or stay on track the way I did. Having that financial support took a lot of pressure off and let me focus on getting through my classes and making the most of the experience.
Because of that, I was able to finish my education and put myself in a position to pursue opportunities that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. It genuinely changed the trajectory of my path, and I’m very thankful for the role the Franklin Lindsay Trust played in helping me get there.
